Manually processing a refund
When an order is edited using Editify, a refund - if applicable - is automatically processed by the app as soon as the order is updated. However, if you need to process another refund later on for the same order, this needs to be manually done.
Follow these simple steps to manually process a refund:
1. On your Shopify admin page, go to Orders.
2. Look for the original order number of the order that you need to refund and click on it. Please note that the original order is in red since it is already canceled.
3. Click Refund items.
4. Enter the amount to be refunded under REFUND AMOUNT.
5. You can also add a reason for the refund in the field provided. This will not be visible to your customer. Then, click Refund.
The manual refund will then be reflected in the order.
